Randall (Randy) Scherago joined the firm in December 2025 as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst and member of White Pine Capital’s Investment Committee.
Randy has spent over 35 years as a professional in the investment business as both a Wall Street analyst and as an institutional equity portfolio manager for institutions, families, and individuals. In addition, he has extensive corporate experience as a senior investor relations executive at two publicly listed corporations.
His investment career experience began as a sell-side analyst at Furman Selz (specializing in healthcare and small cap companies), followed by analyst positions at Robertson Stephens (environmental services), Dean Witter (software), Volpe Brown (semiconductors), First Albany (healthcare), and Prudential Securities (communications, cable and media).
Randy has been a professional portfolio manager for Partech (Banque Paribas venture capital arm), Ironbound Capital Management, and LaSalle Street Capital Management. His executive investor relations positions included senior leadership roles at two public companies GeoEye (satellites) and ContextLogic (E-commerce).
Randy received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Investments from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
